Griselda S. Rodriguez is a Ventura County native, born and raised in the city of Camarillo, California. She is the youngest of three children and the daughter of Guadalupe and Alicia Rodriguez, who immigrated to the United States in the 1970s and made Camarillo their home. Her parents arrived with little more than determination and a belief in hard work, values they passed down to their children from an early age.
Ms. Rodriguez was raised in a Spanish‑speaking household, where her parents intentionally required that only Spanish be spoken at home so their children would grow up fluent in the language and deeply connected to their cultural roots. That upbringing fostered not only bilingual fluency, but also a strong sense of identity and pride in both her Mexican heritage and American upbringing. Her parents emphasized the importance of education, discipline, and personal responsibility, instilling in her the belief that opportunity is earned through perseverance and preparation.
Those early lessons continue to shape Ms. Rodriguez’s approach to the law. Known for her relentless advocacy, she represents individuals who have been injured and families whose lives have been disrupted by someone else’s carelessness, as well as employees whose rights have been violated in the workplace. She brings an unwavering work ethic, genuine compassion, and fearless determination to every case, never losing sight of the human impact behind the legal issues.
Ms. Rodriguez is licensed to practice before all California state courts, local federal courts, and the United States Supreme Court. Her practice reflects both her professional skill and her lifelong commitment to standing up for people who deserve to be heard.
Education & Professional Training
Ms. Rodriguez earned her Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Northridge and her Juris Doctor from Glendale University College of Law. A proud first‑generation attorney, she brings more than two decades of experience in the legal field, having worked full‑time while attending law school in an evening program before becoming licensed as an attorney in 2015. Her path to the courtroom reflects the same determination and discipline she brings to her clients’ cases.
In 2016, Ms. Rodriguez was selected as a graduate of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) Plaintiff Trial Academy, an intensive trial‑advocacy program designed to sharpen courtroom skills through hands‑on training, live critiques, and instruction from some of Southern California’s most accomplished plaintiff trial lawyers. The program emphasizes real‑world trial preparation, persuasive advocacy, and confidence before juries, foundational skills that continue to shape her trial practice today.
She further advanced her trial skills as a 2023 graduate of the Gerry Spence Method, an elite national program known for its focus on authenticity, storytelling, and human connection in the courtroom. Through immersive training, Ms. Rodriguez refined her ability to present cases with clarity, emotional honesty, and narrative power, ensuring that juries not only understand the facts, but truly hear the voices of those she represents.
Leadership & Community Service
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Rodriguez is deeply committed to serving her community and the legal profession. She holds leadership roles with Los Angeles Trial Lawyers’ Charities (LATLC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for underserved populations throughout Southern California through charitable giving and volunteer service. LATLC supports causes focused on children, education, survivors of abuse, individuals with disabilities, and families experiencing homelessness.
Ms. Rodriguez currently serves in LATLC leadership and will lead the organization as its 2026 President, continuing her longstanding commitment to service beyond the courtroom. Her leadership reflects her belief that trial lawyers have a responsibility not only to fight for justice in court, but also to give back to the communities they serve.
